Klarna — Buy Now, Pay Later Terms & Conditions

At The Sassy Coffee Company, we offer Klarna as a flexible payment option so you can spread the cost of your purchase. Please read the following carefully before using this payment method.

What is Klarna Pay in 3?

Klarna Pay in 3 is a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) credit product that lets you split your order into 3 equal, interest-free payments. It is provided by Klarna Bank AB (publ), not by The Sassy Coffee Company.

How It Works

  1. At checkout, select Klarna — Pay in 3 as your payment method.
  2. Your first payment (one third of your order total) is taken at the time of purchase.
  3. Your second payment is taken automatically 30 days later.
  4. Your third and final payment is taken automatically 60 days after purchase.

No action is required from you for payments 2 and 3 — they are collected automatically from your chosen payment method.

Interest & Fees

  • Interest rate: 0% — Pay in 3 is completely interest-free.
  • No setup fees or hidden charges apply when payments are made on time.
  • Late payment fee: If a payment is missed or fails, Klarna may charge a late payment fee. Please refer to Klarna's full terms for the current fee amount.

Eligibility Criteria

To use Klarna Pay in 3, you must:

  • Be a UK resident
  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Have a valid UK debit or credit card
  • Pass Klarna's credit and identity check (a soft credit search may be performed, which does not affect your credit score)

Klarna's credit decision is made by Klarna, not by The Sassy Coffee Company. We cannot influence or override their decision.

Late Payment Consequences

Paying late or missing a payment may have the following consequences:

  • Late fees may be applied to your Klarna account
  • Missed payments may be reported to credit reference agencies, which could negatively affect your credit score and make it harder to obtain credit in the future
  • Your account may be passed to a debt collection agency if payments remain outstanding
  • Klarna may restrict your ability to use their services in the future

We strongly encourage you to only use Klarna if you are confident you can meet all three repayment dates.

Your Right to Withdraw

You have the right to withdraw from your Klarna credit agreement within 14 days of the agreement being made, without giving any reason. To do so, you must contact Klarna directly through the Klarna app or via www.klarna.com/uk. If you withdraw, you must repay the full outstanding amount promptly.
